Since the initial inspiration for the painting series, 100 Views of High Peak came from images in the Sweet Briar College Art Collection, it seemed reasonable to show the series at the College.  Two artist friends, Marion Freerks and Rosalie Day White, agreed to participate in the project.  Below are some of my 30 +/- paintings. which along with their images were shown in two separate exhibits in the summer of 2007 and 2008. As Hokusai did, we painted the mountain from all sides referencing his compositions in a number of ours.
